Flowers are my passion. I love everything about them; their beautiful colours, their heady and heavenly scents and their blowsy forms and velvety textures. I love the way that flowers make people smile, the way that they can transform a room and make it light and luxurious. Most of all, I love how happy flowers make me feel, and I am lucky to have made my living through working with gorgeous flowers every day.
Over the years I have flowered for lavish weddings with an abundance of flowers cascading from every possible surface, and sweet and simple ceremonies with just the perfect placement of a vase of dainty beauties. For each wedding, the flowers have been the finishing touch that turned a pretty venue into a beautiful one.
One of the flowers that I had in my own bridal bouquet was white o’hara- a heavily scented white rose, and every time I smell that scent, a thousand gorgeous memories come back to me in a heartbeat. I’d love to make your flowers and your day just as unforgettable for you.
I started my career as a florist working for Jane Packer in London – a world-renowned florist and author whom I was privileged to work with and learn from. When the time came for a new challenge, I chose to work for Wild at Heart – another very successful London florist whose wild and natural style I greatly admired. At Wild at Heart I honed my skills as a wedding florist and added a little teaching of floristry classes to my repertoire. When my husband and I relocated to Bath, I started working for Flowers By Passion and loved my time there making beautiful wedding flowers and doing a bit more teaching.
I’m very excited to have my own venture now and after proposing to my gorgeous sister that she work with me, we have begun to gather a dream-team of florists around us that are just as passionate as we are about making each and every one of Honeysuckle Flower Co’s weddings beautiful and unique.
Christiane, Founder of Honeysuckle Flower Co.
I’ve been working in Central London for some time but the scent of the west country blossoms have just proven too strong.
I loved the experience of working with my sister Christiane, (founder of Honeysuckle Flower Co.) on my own wedding last winter so much that I joined the team earlier this year in a part time capacity, taking care of administration and social media whilst the team are out flowering.
Growing up, Christiane and I were fixated on blooms and brides; making home-made rose-petal perfumes together, setting out cherry blossom branches around our woodland ‘ceremony tree’ and dressing up in our gran’s old petticoats to be ‘the bride’. Now all these years later, we are making a career out of flowers and styling for weddings- and we still love everything about it!
There is nothing I love more than receiving the beautiful images of the weddings Christiane and her team put together. All of our couples are unique and different, and seeing their personalities woven into their choice of flowers and decoration on the most momentous day of their life is the highlight of the job for me.

My obsession with design was instilled in me by my little Welsh Nain (Granny). She was an avid collector and as a girl I spent many hours with her, trawling through Junk shops and car boot sales looking for beautiful items to collect and curate – and I have never really stopped.
I studied design in Manchester, going on to specialise in jewellery design and business. I have exhibited both in the UK and abroad.
Relocating to the South West gave me my introduction to floristry through Flowers by Passion, where I started as an admin assistant and went on to become creative director. I learned so much from my time there with the very talented Passion team. I developed an integral knowledge of weddings and events and, of course, this is where I found flowers.
I have a deep love for flowers – putting together different combinations, building textures and colour palettes is so endlessly inspiring. Marrying this element with all aspects of wedding styling – from vases to candles, table plans to napkin décor – all the endless possibilities blow my mind!
Meeting with couples is such a joy to me. Talking out about their plans – finding out what inspires them- what they hope to create. It is so exciting to thoughtfully nurture this initial spark and let it unfold into a unique concept which incorporates all aspects of one very special, personal and celebratory day. It is really incredible to be a part of this journey.
