A few pretty piccies from Steve and Grace’s English Country Fete wedding last weekend; a beautiful day filled with sweet treats, croquet on the lawn, scones and tea and an absolute abundance of soft pink and powder blue summery flowers, provided by Honeysuckle Flower Co. of course! This has to be one of the most happy, fun filled weddings that I have ever had the pleasure of making the flowers for. The bride was full of cute and quirky ideas for every little detail, and the groom had hand-built almost all of the wedding props- from the smaller things like signposts, a teapot table plan and a photo booth, right up to a bespoke pic’n’mix handcart and a coconut shy! (To my delight, I have been lucky enough to acquire all these items for Honeysuckle Flower Co!!) The flower choices were beyond beautiful, and I had such a happy time buried amongst mountains of the frothiest powder-blue hydrangeas, the cutest lilac scabious daisy flowers, the prettiest pink cascading japanese anemones, and some of the sweetest sweet peas I ever sniffed. As you’ll see from my pictures, the bees turned up for a little lick of nectar too!
