This is SUCH a gorgeous time of year. I simply adore the autumn festivals of flame and drama; Halloween and Guy Fawkes Night, with their dark origins, and their vibrant fiery colours, are the perfect antidote to the black nights that are drawing in around us. I get so excited to see the carved pumpkins glowing in every doorway down the street , and to jump up and down all evening to attend to a thousand or so seriously CUTE trick-or-treaters. So I had a lot of fun creating these spooky flowers for a Halloween dinner party. I love the warm peach of the euphorbia, and the hot pumpkin orange of the fluffy ranunculus flowers. I also mixed in some spiderweb-soft ferns and some spiky twigs to keep it from being too pretty. Hope you all had a spooktacular night!
